Zion U. Savory
Zion Savory is a co-founder of Savory Bartlett Legal Group, LLC and a trial-focused attorney dedicated to helping individuals who have been seriously injured or wronged. His practice centers on personal injury and product liability cases where he works to hold insurance companies, individuals, and other entities accountable; he fights for the compensation his clients deserve.
Zion’s path to the law is grounded in discipline, leadership, and community. The son of Jamaican immigrants, Zion was born in Queens, New York, and raised in South Florida. He earned his business degree from Florida International University before moving to Dayton to attend the University of Dayton School of Law, where he served as President of the Black Law Students Association, Vice President of his class, and received multiple awards for his advocacy and leadership.
During law school, Zion spent his summers working at a plaintiffs’ firm, where he observed firsthand the difference a committed attorney can make in people’s lives. That experience shaped his career path. After law school, he spent half a decade at an Am Law national firm defending manufacturers and corporations in personal injury and product liability cases. There, he learned how companies approach lawsuits and what strategies they use to limit responsibility.
Today, Zion uses that experience to help injured individuals level the playing field. He knows how the other side operates and how to build strong cases that push back.
Though not originally from the Dayton area, Zion has made Dayton his home and has become deeply involved in the community. He currently serves as a board member of Bike Miami Valley and an associate board Member of the Dayton Art Institute. He previously served on the associate board of the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery and on the executive committee for the Greater Dayton Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Legal Roundtable. In his free time, he coaches youth basketball with Fairborn Schools.
Zion has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Ohio Rising Star (2025-2027). He lives in Washington Township with his wife Jordan and son Jaxon, and enjoys engaging in physical activity, cycling, cooking, and mentoring young athletes.
